I think you have two options making fabric. A still with wave-fx or (in the latest update) use a video texture...

• Joshua, wood?!!! LOL!... you've actually got me thinking ;)

•Irina, I actually used the "ReflectiveWater_WavingFlag.fx"... I applied it to three different still images of fabric at different amplitudes and speeds to create a random flowing effect. I then overlapped them slightly. I hope that helps ;)
