Credits
What are Credits?
Credits are the local currency at Headsub. Credits provide you with the most flexible way of paying for videos. You buy them with your local currency. Every time you download a video from our server, we take the corresponding amount of credits from your account. You only have to buy credits if you want to download a video from our website. Just playing around with previews until they fit your needs perfectly will not cost you anything. Designers will receive credits in their account if they sell a template.
What is the cost of a Credit?
In general one credit will cost you €0,01. When buying larger packages of credits they will become cheaper. Please check out our ordering site to see pricing details and discounts available.
How can I use my free video?
I haven't received my credits after buying them
After you paid at ShareIt, it takes a little while for us to receive a confirmation from them.
We will send you an email when we do and you can also check your account on Headsub regularly.
If you paid with a CreditCard this should not take more than a couple of minutes.
How is the amount of Credits per download calculated?
The number of credits a video download will cost depends on roughly two factors:
Video Resolution and Duration
The size of the video in pixels. Width, height and duration are all factors in this calculation.
Designer fee
The template designer that uploaded the template can ask a starting fee. This will cover his design costs. Some designers ask nothing, some ask a small or larger amount. It all depends on the quality and exclusivity of the design. By the way: you only pay the 'Designer Fee' ONCE if you use multiple loops of the same template. This will be shown clearly in the ordering screen.
Why are there two amounts of Credit costs visible?
The fee for downloading a video is basically build up from two values:
(1) The cost of the template
This fee is determined by the designer and is to compensate for his time and skills.
(2) The cost per render
If you use a template more than once in the same video, you only have to pay for it once.
The amount you see here states the costs for rendering each loop.
So for instance, if you use a template that costs 1000 Credits three times and rendering each loop costs 150 Credits, the total amount deducted will be 1450 Credits (1000+150+150+150)
Important: this is only when using a template multiple times in the same video.
